    1891 Mosin Nagant sketch

I uncovered a charcoal sketch that I did about 30 years ago. Don't laugh! I wasn't really that familiar with the rifle back then and not only mis-spelled "Mosin", but also got the model wrong as well! So, pay no attention to that. The rifle had a manufacture date of 1895 and was a Finn capture. It wasn't in the best shape, but still had a lot of character and that's why I chose it for subject matter. Anyways, enjoy!

Nicely done. I think Moisin is a widely used spelling, or was.

Moisin is often used by self proclaimed experts who relish pronouncing it with much embellishment as MOYZEEEN, the guys name being Sergei Ivanovich MOSIN apparently doesn't bother them at all...LOL
