    Trimming .223 cases.

Trimming .223 cases this morning. Did 500 at a rate of 1 sec per case using the Giraud powered case trimmer which also does the mouth prep as part of the same operation. Whatta Hobby!

Having a ball finding what this brass, bullet and powder like. 20 gn of 30 yr old IMR-4198 in Starline cases with a Berger 55 gn varmint bullet set off with 205m primers. Used a .003 neck tension and a 2.26 COAL for this batch. Not too shabby for an old Savage 110 in .223. Shot at 100 yds off a Caldwell " The Rock" front rest and a rear rabbit bag. Whatta Hobby!

I would venture to say "not shabby at all."
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.
