    Shotshell Hull ID

Anyone had any experience reloading Federal Top Gun hulls? I can find no information on them.

I have fired some, but reloaded none. Here is a link to info regarding the hulls:
Below is a guide to the various straight wall hulls found in the US Domestic Market and Internationally. This guide is by no means complete, so if you spot something missing or incorrect, please post it so I can edit the list for accuracy. I have made a best effort to identify the OEM...

If I remember correctly, there are two different 12 gauge 2.75" Top Gun cases, one with a plastic basewad, the other with paper basewad. In order to do anything with them, you'll have to make sure you only have one of the two types, then hunt on that website for data.

Here is one thread I think is worth reading:
I started reloading top guns and I had some questions. I cut a few open to see what is in it. I noticed a few had a clear plastic ring in them. Two full one partial and the majority I didn't see them. Is that just left over plastic from making them? How can you test to make sure the base wad is...

One of Federal's trap, skeet and sporting clays brand lines. There's 'Target', 'Target Steel' and, for some daft reason, 'Target Subsonic'. Appears to be low end stuff. Runs $69.99 per case of 250 at Cabela's.
No idea if it's reloadable. Ask Federal. http://www.federalpremium.com/company/contact_us.aspx
      Spelling and grammar count!
