    Gun show carbine

Saw a very nice early 1873 carbine last month at the Puyallup, WA gun show. Long wrist stock, early everything, Ser# 182xx. I couldn't see the last digits due to the hammer being zip locked down , the lighting, and me forgetting my glasses. Gun was not for sale and owner said he was researching it. What was interesting was that it had VITA stamped on the barrel near the breech.

Vitaphone studios. They sold out to Warner Brothers in 1925. Lot of their old property was still around marked VITA when Warners sold off a lot of property.
