Don't know what to say about the numbers, but the "Model" block is not early. How's the rod? SS or DS? I see the rear band is a '68. Some conundrums there!Comment

I sold the Forager a few years ago to a knowledgeable collector.
I acquired it from a man here in Omaha who told me the name of his ancestor who’d used it and obtained it while serving on a frontier post in what I think was South Dakota.
The current owner has all of the information that I was able to obtain from the family member from whom I bought it.
I can’t remember any of it now, but the current owner has it.
