Got my younger brother hooked on M1's by purchasing one for him as a gift for returning from Iraq/Afghanistan in one piece. After his first time at the range, it was "I gotta get another one of these!" Then I corrupted him by introducing him to black powder and flintlocks. Then it was percussion muskets. Now he's on his second Trapdoor.
