    Early 1873 carbine

Early 1873 carbine with m41 Mississippi forend attached with leather and brass bands, a piece of metal is missing on bottom that seemed to connect the two pieces along with the leather rope. Indian head penny front sight.

20800 Told you about this one on trapdoor collector site and sent you a few pictures few weeks back. Looks like someone took a wire brush to the exposed metal part's, see some patina on edge of barrel, dont have that crusty aged brown look like my early 73 rifle but everything looks correct, line does match up perfect on barrel and breech so i would assume all orginal to each other as when first assembled?? Sight is untouched not a mark on the screws, two click tumbler low comb breech. Painted hammer.
