Al Frasca is retiring after many years of collecting and selling trapdoor rifles, parts and sharing his knowledge of trapdoors with all of us. His website will continue with other people who are also knowledgeable. I wish Al all the best and a good retirement! He deserves it!

Al sold me a very pristine 1889 rifle which was in storage until the early fifties. Mr. Hosmer has one too, just a few serial numbers apart.
