          Not to hi-jack, but I have two BA-marked Krags. (1) My CRE carbine 70210, and (2) My 1892/96 rifle 6692, if that is of any help.

              That leaves me out - mine is certainly OK, but not "really nice". IIRC, on 6692 the [BA-WJ] is surcharged right over the remains of a [JSA/date]. On the carbine, there does not appear to have ever been anything other than the [BA-WJ]. It probably went to China with the short stock, which was replaced with a long upon return.
