1888 Ramrod Bayonet Assembly

I would like information on the 1888 ramrod retainer mechanism. Does anyone have a list of the pieces necessary to assemble it? I am restoring a 1888 rifle that is missing the assembly.

I believe there are only three parts. The catch, spring and pin.

No, that part is for the 1884 flat-latch. The 1888 is simpler, but there are two little springs. The pin should be available - if not, should be fairly easy to make.
