        Word is that the crate is not "original" in the true sense of being a virgin period find - it is believed to have been assembled in the Las Vegas area (need I say more) within the last 20 years.

        Still, it is imposing to look upon, and the dealer who bought it will likely make a profit. Serials span a range of 300,000 overall, but there is one consecutively numbered pair.

              I looked at all the pistols listed and they are a impressive collection. I would think this collector would have had a example of a artillary lugar in his collection as well as shoulder stocks for same and no holsters for the broomhandles.
