SRS check

I'm looking at a 1884 ser#454124. From what I have read it was built in 1889-1890. The stock is stamped 1884 with a little wood missing around both side of the tang. Asking price is 875. Is that to much for a rifle with a replacement stock that is missing a little wood. The rest of the rifle seems ok. Thanks, Robert
