No I do not other than it's Spanish American War vintage.I liked it and saved it because of all the paraphernalia shown in the picture.

Wonderful picture. Just looking closely, it appears that the man sitting inside the tent smoking a pipe has some sort of head injury?

He appears to be gripping a holster attached to a cartridge belt that's hanging from the rafter.

Looks like the two guys inside the shed are playing cards.

Looks like he's grabbing the holster attached to the ctg. belt hanging from the rafter, I had to look twice - the same guy exhaling smoke, the card game, the squad cleaning rod, the belt around the stacked rifles, field equipment. Thirteen soldiers, maybe a squad? I like the one on the left holding open the breechblock, why would he do that? Very entertaining photo. Thanks for posting.

I think the guy holding up the breachblock is trying to say "We have these fancy new cartridge guns instead of those old fashioned muzzle loaders".

No -since it is SAW period, it's much more likely he is complaining that he doesn't have a Krag!!!!

That is a really neat picture! Would be great to have everything in sharp focus - there are so many little vignettes.

That was as good as I could get downloading that image with the resolution set as high as my scanner will go,600 and editing it a little on my iPhoto program.

Great picture. It has a little bit of everything to include field gear to the rest of the rifles in the rack in the back of the tent. The only thing they are missing is the little dog that seemed to hang around every tent back then.

Thank you for posting this picture. It appears to be State Volunteers, sworn in, and waiting to serve, during the SAW. It could be anywhere, neat!
