I live in Washington State. First became acquainted with m1 carbine in middle 60's. My experience was all positive. It's easy to see why the m1 was Audie Murphy's favorite.

Welcome from a former Washingtonian. You picked a good 'un to get acquainted with way back then. Hard to beat the lightweight and handling of the little .30 M1 Carbine; they sure are fun to shoot and maintain.Comment
