M1 Garand collector here. Not sure why I have not been here before, but have spent a lot of time on the CMP forum using the same username.
Primary interest is in the US arsenal rebuilt M1 Garands. I recently exhibited a part of my collection at the GCA Convention in Talledehga this past year.
I do collect images of parts & feature details on Arsenal M1s if anyone has anything they would like to share. Leg etches of thge arsenal and date are of particular interest as I have been documenting the various dates.
My interests go beyond M1s, though.
I have been looking around for earlier rifles and found a couple trapdoors so came here looking for advice.
My goal is to end up with a representative example of rifles up to the M1 Garand.
