#3 Been there, done that. I don't drive my 4x4 anywhere I wouldn't drive my 2x4. If I get stuck I then have a chance of getting out.

Dad actually had an original Austin Mini. (He even rolled it, but that's another tale) Never needed a jack for wheel service.
Little car was a little bit scary in strong cross-winds.
