Old school darkroom kit. Looks like a diffusion enlarger. I still have one of those myself. SW (but not this eastern Europe model)

Nice cropping square. The lens on that one might be decent. Looks like a 6 x 6 carrier.

Some people can hand hold a long lens like that - I'm not one of them. Tripod for me, please! photo6.jpg "You'll need a different f-stop if you don't want blurred pics!"

Waterproof cameras - that's not one of them!

For great duck pics, don't forget bread - croutons work even better!

Looks like a Helios-44 on an old Zenit-E. Relatively decent glass, and most likely m-42 mount, which still has a healthy following for both film and digital.

Here's a lens I picked up for cheap last week:

                Film era AF-Nikkor 35-70 f3.3-4.5.
Shown here on my old FT-3, which it works perfectly on in manual focus, of course.

Markings and controls. The bit of on-line research I've done on it says kit lens for AF film cameras from the late 80's to early 90's.
It's rendering is quite different from the cold, analytical look of the later D series AF lenses.
The front element took a lot of cleaning- probably pipe, or cigar smoke residue. Was probably a shelf queen for a couple of decades or so.
Need some decent daylight to provide sample images. Maybe some time this week.
Still figuring out ways for control in-put on the D-810. I still have a healthy dislike for auto aperture operations on a "smart" camera.
