I just noticed the weirdo hammer in pic #1. I want to clarify; I didn't make that. I fouond it at a rummage sale and it was so weird I had to have it.

The tiger striping is what inspired me to buy the K11. I look for decent metal and the wood I can fix up.

Someone got tired of breaking hammer handles. I thought of doing similar with shovels and rakes by welding a steel water pipe on in place of the wood handle.

The guy inadvertently made something interesting. The "handle" has some spring to it. Another thing that I should consider doing, but won't. I swear in a couple of years I'm going to see it and say, yup, that was my idea.
Your late on the water pipe...I've seen it and used it. The metal is way slicker than wood and it adds a little weight. It just doesn't feel right. It sucks but in a pinch...
It was my idea to pay for groceries with a charge card. 1973 I got my first one. I bought things with it(but in fifty yrs. I've never had a balance), but you still had to stand in line at the grocery and waited for the guy in front to count out the bills and coins and God forbid, the old lady who slowly wrote out a check.
A couple of years ago I saw the last Old Lady pay for her groceries with a check. I should have gotten a picture.

I like to get behind someone who is buying grocery's for their whole neighborhood and wants 7 different totals, each of which are paid separate and differently.

In a bit of beater condition from a pawnshop. 20.00 OTD.
After a good cleaning and some structural repair, it makes images like these:

After long hiatus after selling whole collection to Dean at DGR (rip)many years ago, ended up buying 3 more m1s over last few weeks to have a baseline 5 rifle m1 collection again. Not 36 like used to have, but nice having a few to look at again.

I've been after a dot sight for an EBR. Read reviews and went for a Vortex Striker. Palmetto was out, but just got some in, and as part of a Dad's day sale, threw in 10x 30 round AR mags and shipped for free. Worked for me! Cashed in some winning scratcher cards and just did the deal. SW

I collect Puma sharp stuff. This razor came up on a Euro auction site, and my main man in Budapest grabbed it for me at a very favorable price. Probably won't be shaving with it, though. SW

The last time the barber shaved the back of my neck, he used one of those, and I'm fairly certain it was the same one pictured.

Let us know how you make out with the red-dot.
Curious about dot size, and ring diameter. I'd ditch the A/R riser on it for something a bit lower over the bore to use on my old school rifles...

                          Regards,

The riser is there to put the dot above the front sight, so I'll probably leave it in place. I've got an AR with flat top rear but front sight still in place.

I recall Elmer Keith complaining AR sights sat too high back in the day. I never minded that too much. I tried an AK in Viet Nam and didn't think it was a viable weapon because the magazine was always in the road. But I've gotten used to that. SW

Very nice. Over the past few years I have wittled mine down to three, an International Harvester, a Winchester Navy Nato and a Breda M1D with scope and transit case.
Enfield, everything else is just a rifle. Unless it's a Garand.

Nearly new Schwinn from a pawn shop.
It's just slightly small for me, but other wise all right.
That seat has gotta go though- it's turning my butt into limburger and cheese :P
It will be fine with a new seat and post extension.
                                Now to target some walleye
