    Coffee, 10/18

    cool morning here,
wife and sis in law are up in the mountians for a few days at some festival or event in Berryville,

I was supposed to go east to pick up a decent sized estate, but the guy had a death in his family (RIP) and canceled,
will go down in a few weeks as our schedules permit

today, since it is kinda a free day, of sorts, will be spent at the shop getting some stuff done, likely going thru some militaria I bought in the past month or 2 and getting it online,

and I need to finish the install of the replacement sink I put in the shop head,

Up a bit late this a.m.
50/50 Colombian over Max tastes pretty good.
Was fairly busy yesterday, and went to bed tired and early.
Did get a couple of eater pike from Hazel Creek on Thursday. Pic to be uploaded, and probably show it here.

Wind blew a lick earlier this week and nearly all walnuts are gone from the tree. But squills have options for things to chew on - like pumpkins setting on people's porches. I think it's funny when they chew up a jack-o-lantern, but wifey gets all irate. I can't see getting mad - squirrels gonna be squirrely. Wind also removed a metric ton of leaves. Got a lot from the front yard yesterday and meant to do 1st removal in the back yard today, but it's raining so no. (Oh, darn! )

While wifey watched football yesterday, I worked on a model kit I've had laying around for a year or 6. Might mess with that more today. For now, it's back to being quiet so she can sleep in. SW

I usually start the day with a cuppa tea or 2, or a canned Coke (16oz)
today, had neither, and did not brew a cuppa till maybe 30 minutes ago (Noon)
          been up since 730

lack off caffeine has me wanting to go take a nap,

          did finish the sink install,,,

Couple of 24" pike from Hazel Creek. Filleting knife in pic is 18" long.

Off on a 6 mile round trip coffee ride on the Blue Rocket. In Enderton (I think?) Park on the way home.
Of course it started raining as soon as I left the house. About half-way to the coffee shop, got hailstones the size of barley coming down for about 3 minutes. Rarely see hail this late in October.

BTW, how is that pike to eat,

fished a pond or 2 that had them, and caught a few Chain Pickeral but never kept one to eat,

now bluegill, bream or shell crackers, and esp Crappy, they are absolutely delicious
