    Galaxieman has passed

    he had not posted here in a couple years, however he is a Minefielder, and posted on the mewe page and yesterday weapons,
    collapsed and passed after a day out with his son,

    He was young - in his 40s, right? I hate to hear that - he was never starting squabbles, and would take time to answer mechanical questions. SW

      Had a few discussions with him on the non-archived cars page from the old YW.
      That's too bad. I had meant to run some XL stuff by him if the car thing ever got resurrected here.

      My view of "young" is changing too, now, as well as my opinion of Ford vehicles. (the last 2 Fords have been decent, if somewhat under-powered)

        I remember when he joined us here. His comments were few (here). Sorry to hear of his passing.

          he was 63, basically my age, and had been married as long as I have (39 yrs)

          PEcan got his son to join the mewe minefield yeasterday

            63 is still a bit young to be falling over deceased. He may have had long standing health issues he never mentioned.

            But stuff like that happens. The last student I had as a RR engr was in his 40s. He really caught on to the knack of controlling a train. Came to work one day, and between leaving his car and the yard office door, he blew a gasket and passed away on the spot. Requiem to both. SW
