Saturday coffee and enjoying the ac thread July 11

Looks like no more rain for a while - just heat. Also hot in Europe, my friends tell me. So they stay close to the "airco", too.

I'm a Tour de France fan and noticed riders were perspiring freely, hoping for a lengthy downhill segment to cool off. But team support cars were steadily handing out water and even spraying guys in hopes of keeping them pedaling the entire day. A couple did drop out with what seemed to be heat stroke.

Really nothing planned for the day - I'll mow tomorrow since the lawn chemical lady said she'd be around Monday. She does rather a hit & miss job, but wifey doesn't want to drop her since she goes to our church. I've always found it odd how much business is connected to church contacts. SW

have had rain for the past 4 days, some good downpours, some just a sprinkle or 2,

either way, grass is happy and growing, so I will likely be mowing tomorrow night if it dries out

wifey went to see her mom and sis, for the weekend, I drove down to our store in Kilmarnock to take a load of guns and ammo for them to put online,

    BTW, please like and subscribe

not trying to monetize the channel, but every bit helps get the algorithym to get it to more people

move a few guns this way too,

Sun I went to mom's to fix her pill boxes and ended up taking her to breakfast/brunch, then to work for a couple hrs,

then managed to get home and have a nice nap for about 90 minutes before the wife called on her way home

roasted taters, fresh white corn and seared local scallops (stopped by a good fishmonger on the way home) for dinner
