You're absolutely correct about their nature and not being where they're supposed to be.

That said, I owe you an apology for dropping the reference without any history (context) behind it. I'd like to remedy that.
Another forum member has come down with a panic attack (understandably) over a recent spate of eye issues (floaters) and he's been quite vocal in expressing his displeasure. He'd taken to starting off his days with "Good Morning, I hate floaters". Hence, the reference.

He had been starting with, "Good Morning, I hate (person)", marking this as an improvement.
We'll make a Taoist out of him yet.
