I thought that was the public school system.

Had this conversation with a friend 1/2 my age not long ago.
He has two boys just entering the school system. Mine are in their 30's.

While we both agree that 'pride' flags have no business in a third graders classroom, we also agree that learning to socialize is important.
One hopes that some schools aren't as bad as others.

While many school systems are basically that (mostly in Blue States), far more are not.

But private schools have always been a far more liberal environment.
