Everyone has preferences in the foods they eat. Everyone seasons their food to THEIR liking.
While I can understand why people would not like hot sauce, soy sauce, pepper, vinegar, heavy salt, and other condiments/spices that would change the taste of food I can't understand all the negative articles on ketchup.
Sure, it's a matter of personal taste but some seem to view its presence as being offensive.
I remember from an old Clint Eastwood movie (dirty Harry), Clint making a personal plug stating: "nobody but nobody puts ketchup on a hotdog".
Personally I feel whatever cranks your tractor--go for it and stay out of everyone else's business but I won't eat a hotdog w/o ketchup.
In chain restaurants like Whataburger (which I like), you won't find any ketchup. Perhaps you can ask for it. Maybe not. I've been to several and have never seen any sign of ketchup available.
What brings me to start this thread is I've just read others commenting on avoiding ketchup on hotdogs. Some people need a life.
