What's the deal with ketchup?

Ranch salad dressing will work in a pinch on fries, as long as it ain't too far past expiry date.

I'm pretty ambivalent on fries, and can handle most with or without ketchup.
Popeye's Louisiana Chicken fries are over salted, as is the chicken. McD's used to be pretty bad for over-salted fries, but seem to have toned that down a lot over the past couple of years.
I pay much more attention to salt intake than ketchup use.

For salt, pizza hut is about the worst. It's like they want you to get thirsty and maybe buy something to drink their parent company makes. Pepsi used to own pizza hut - not sure who does these days. SW
