A peep sight is the bomb if you can use it. With the Pacific, make sure you loctite down the thumbscrew before you go hunting. Don't ask me how I know this!

Dick, i'll take a couple of pics to show what I have to work with.
I didn't realize the sight came with it's own attatchments,,,,, probably impossible to find nowadays.

      Thank you for your insight.

        No problem!

The only tricky bit will be filing the head of whatever fillister-head (cheese-head) machine screw that you use, to match the inside curvature of the sleeve - 15 minute job. I'm guessing an 8-32 x 3/4" would come close.

jon, the thumb screw came loose when( hand tightened ) plinking , so now it's got "blue Loctite " to keep it put....

The ones I've seen installed have a hex nut visible on top - but it would make better sense that the sight itself would (also) be threaded, and that said nut would simply be for locking/jamming.

The mounting hole is threaded, i found a screw that screws in but i don't think it will work for this app.
              But it's a start ,ain;t it?
