Working on breaking in the barrel on Bula XM21 #209 that I just put together recently. Took the scope off and removed the action for more clearance work in the ferule area. This is a USGI figerglass stock so we can't expect much accuracy. Not bedded yet but pretty tight at any rate.
Target 1 is cold clean bore after sticking the scope back on. 1.5 moa to the right with elevation pretty good. 2 is second 10 rnd group with a bit of over correction. Targets 3 and 4 are reversed. 4 shot first then moved into 3 as adjustments to scope were being made. 5 is the final 10 rnd group of the 50 rnds fired today. Whatta Hobby!

Stuck the NightForce BEAST on XM21 #211. Has a Liberty SS Heavy 1-10 5R barrel. This will let me know how well the Liberty barrels really can shoot. Hope to get out tomorrow for some testing. Whatta Hobby!

Got out with Bula XM21 #211 for a few minutes. Knocked out 50 rnds of good ammo for a start to break in the Liberty barrel. Hit to the right on the left target was from a target above before an elevation correction. OOPS. Whatta Hobby!

Bula Defense Systems rear lugged XM21 builds coming along right on schedule for Winter bedding. 209 top, 211 center and 212 in lower position. 209 and 211 are both shooting well into sub moa for 10 rnds. 212 requires final fitting in Fajen NM stock and bedding along with the others. Whatta Hobby!

Got out with XM21 #209 for a few minutes this morning. Strapped on a Leupold MK- 4 16 x fixed to be similar to military scopes of a certain vintage. Temp 35 with a very light, almost still wind. Ammo is RA-68 cases with a 115 gn Berger fb over 45 gn of Norma 201 touched off with 210Ms running at 3K fps. Clean cold bore 10 rnd group at 100 is 1" max spread with an average of under .75 shot of a bipod, not benchrest. Another 10 dot rifle for sure. Whatta Hobby!
