Bula Defense XM21 tuned and ready to do it's thing

Just finished getting my latest Bula Defense XM21 serial # 2 ready for the 20 dot challenge. Another consistent sub moa M14, yippee. Barrel is Bula Med weight NM, bolt and all other parts are Bula including their new cast gas cylinder. Muzzle brake is a GGW on loan from a friend. Rifle is sitting in a JAE Gen 3 chassis with a 8.5 - 25 Leupold MK 4 LRT. Accushot monopod and bipod are off my 700P.

This rifle loves 168 SMK in LC brass over 42.8 gr of BLC-2 with 210M primer. I just had to shoot a test target with my last 15 rnds of the development load. Last 12 rnds were all in the circles even if target 6 had two bulls. Target one and two were sight in and then we were good to go. Off to the loading bench to get some ammo ready for a new challenge tomorrow if the weather is good.

Check out the gas cylinder, notice anything strange?

Lucky Dog! The M14 is a fine weapon system. Are you match prepping your brass?

      Thanks Sam,
Yes, I do what I can to match prep. Sizing, trimming, flash hole deburing, primer pocket uniforming, annealing and weighing cases into close groups. Lastly, while I am loading my range ammo box, I weigh and sort completed cartridges into sections. Any more work than that would be lost on the M14. They aren't exactly a bench rest rifle, but I sure have fun tweaking their capabilities.

I found out that the Lyman"M" die helped to align the projectile and I didn't have to chamfer the case with the VLD.

Correctomundo. No gas shut off for rifle grenades. Why bother with putting one on if it isn't needed.

That is what arty and mortars are for, not to mention the Wart Hog. You never know what can charge from behind the rifle pit. Sounds like I need to be put to bed.

Just plotted the hits on the targets above using an ink pad and 30 cal casing. Ends up being just about a 1 moa test target for the 12 or 13 hits. I am impressed with the Bula Defense gear.
