Have some say frog lube the thing. I kinda like the relationship with my arms,ya know cleaning them when the wife is bitchy in the man cave and all.

I run it wet using CLP spray. Except in freezing weather when I just wipe it down lightly with CLP. Dusty/sandy and windy days, run it dry.Due to ammo shortages, no warning shot will be firedComment

I use grease, on the four bearing surfaces on the bolt carrier, the cam pin, and on the bolt gas rings. I like grease, it stays where I put it and I don't get oil spots splattering on my glasses.Comment

Damp (wet but not dripping wet) with LSA for the most part. I seem to have a life-time supply of the stuff. That's what Uncle Sugar taught me many decades ago, and it still seems to work. Although an upper bought from LaRue came with a bottle of "Machine Gun Lube" and I've used it in that upper and a couple more with great success. It seems to be a bit more carbon resistant than LSA from what I can tell. Machine Gun Lube is still available from LaRue."There it is"
