Have some say frog lube the thing. I kinda like the relationship with my arms,ya know cleaning them when the wife is bitchy in the man cave and all.

I use a small amount of Mobil # 25 on the bolt and gas rings and wipe a oily rag on the outside of the bolt carrier and inside the upper.

I run it wet using CLP spray. Except in freezing weather when I just wipe it down lightly with CLP. Dusty/sandy and windy days, run it dry.
Due to ammo shortages, no warning shot will be fired

I use grease, on the four bearing surfaces on the bolt carrier, the cam pin, and on the bolt gas rings. I like grease, it stays where I put it and I don't get oil spots splattering on my glasses.

Wet. Slip 2000 out the door and RemOil at the range or in class because that's what's in my bag.

Wet, not dripping wet but wet.

Don't run any rifle dry unless you're in the desert or arctic. You aren't in either so wet it is.

Wet usually with slip 2000 have run miltec 1 and another synthetic. No deserts here can get cold, but not cold enough to be an issue.

I like wet. I use a light lube, while my son likes a heavier lube like Frog Lube on all moving parts.

Damp (wet but not dripping wet) with LSA for the most part. I seem to have a life-time supply of the stuff. That's what Uncle Sugar taught me many decades ago, and it still seems to work. Although an upper bought from LaRue came with a bottle of "Machine Gun Lube" and I've used it in that upper and a couple more with great success. It seems to be a bit more carbon resistant than LSA from what I can tell. Machine Gun Lube is still available from LaRue.
