John, did they used the block P only with the CCV inspected stocks, or are you aware of other inspectors aswell?

I have a 78,180 rifle with a 1-08 barrel, another one of the "updated" M1903/05s and it also has a "script" P.
"We make men without chests and expect from them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst."

I notice that my s/n 160963 (with no bolt CCV cartouched stock) has the early handguard without the groove and without the small S stamp at the rear, also my bolt is only marked S

The handguard on s/n 231520 has the small S stamp at the rear

I would like to see a photo of the inside of the stock on s/n 231520
