FCA has far less exposure to Red China than GM or Ford. The Pentastar engine in my Jeep was a US/German design first started in the Daimler days, and the engine plants are in Michigan and Mexico. As one engineer looking at the work of others, I can tell you that the modern power plants are pretty remarkable. Yes I have nostalgia for the 383 and 318 V8s and heck even the slant sixes of my younger days, but these modern engines are just so much better.

Re: Op. Censorship? Guess if you don't get to see everyone use whatever terminology you prefer ... that's supposed to be censorship. Along those lines then someone should be all upset if they don't get to see their preferred terminology for military officers, police officers, whatever used as the standard default descriptor. Oh well. Guess you'll have to build support for what you think about whoever it is you currently hate ... then convince everyone else to go along with what you think. Then maybe your preferred descriptors will be normalized. But then you'll just find someone else to complain about.

As to your spew about disgraced preachers ... do not suppose there is any walk in life where you will not find people who disqualify themselves from leadership by their own failure to measure up to what they say they stand for. What else is new? Its about like Congressional Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Pa) who was so big on pro-life ... but pressured his girl friend on the side of his marriage to have a abortion when he got her pregnant. He is "retiring." Of course he will do so after "begging for millions." He and his kind are no different than generals and admirals who line their pockets and medical companies that talk about healing people but jack their prices up sky high to profiteer off the back of Americans while they sell the same stuff overseas for far less ... because they can't get away with such stuff in many foreign countries. So ...
in my honest opinion, its no different with any of them ... and that includes any of the usual suspects numbered among the Rhinos, as well as the Tea Party, and even right on up to Trump. There is no difference at all. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.
