    Disgraced Bible thumpers

You talk about censorship... look up or Google disgraced preachers... oops there aren't any.

If you really get into it, you can find stuff on Jim & Tammy Bakker, or maybe Jerry Falwell. But otherwise you are hard pressed to find anything negative about other utterly corrupt Bible Thumpers.

They are out there by the dozens. Faith Healers used to be on cable TV every Sunday begging for donations to help the blind see or the crippled walk. People that we forget, like Darren Brown and Peter Popoff (sp?) and their cousins in crime.

Then there are the Roberts, Oral and Frank... begging for millions and living like billionaires while thumping the bible all the while.

In My Honest Opinion, (IMHO), Judge Moore is of the same ilk. Just my .02.

Red I have to agree with you on this. Dad had been sending $$$ to one in Ohio and getting "junk" in return. After Dad died the mail kept pouring in and I sent it back to them. When I was visiting Mom I answered the phone and it was one of "them" on the phone asking for Dad's address. I gave them apartment 22 building D and a street address. This was the local cemetery where Dad was buried, Mom never heard from them again. The Bakers were con artists, very good ones.
Mrs. Baker died a horrible death and I believe he is selling overpriced "survival" food or some such trash. My family believes in supporting our Church a what is given here stays here. Without asking, my Church helped us out financially until my insurance kicked in.

While you may be right about Moore ( he IS kinda kooky ) he is all that stands between us here in Alabama and his democrat opposition Doug Jones. For the "swamp" to fight so hard to keep him out he has got to have some good quality's though. This anti-queer, anti-muslim West Point graduate has my vote regardless unless he is cheated out of the election.

Yeah, but whose fault is that? Trump warned about him and supported his opponent... Why would he do that... he had no personal skin in the game and no real reason for supporting either Republican candidate. But, just perhaps after all Trump is not the moron he is said to be.... perhaps, just perhaps, he saw a disaster in the making and tried to prevent it by supporting Strange.

The Democrats keep close files on up and coming opponents. Perhaps the bad news about Justice Moore was on file for years but why use it until it and he became important?

I'm not saying that is the case... but if you think about it, it makes sense.

Does party affiliation outweigh all other considerations? Doug Jones, his he a bad guy or just from the wrong tribe? On gun control he seems in step with Alabama. No whiff of problems in his personal life, unlike a lot of AL politicians lately. Seems like the state could do worse than to be represented by him. Just wondering.

I find it interesting that a republican is GUILTY until proven INNOCENT!
But a democrat........NAH...... look it komrad klinton, he didn't have sex with that woman....etc etc..
Everyone likes to PICK on Christians or people who read Bibles, but they really need to realize is that we are ALL sinners!

If you throw a scoop of ice cream into a bucket of sht you still have a bucket of sht. No whiff of problems? or no whiff from the liberal news media? Only Republicans do corrupt things just listen to the news. By the way it was one of our former democrat governors (Donald Siegelman) that served jail time.

i think you summed it up pretty well. seems folks dont believe in Innocent until proven guilty in this country any more.. is it likely moore is a dirtbag, yup as most politicians are in one form or another. its all rotten politics folks. if he did it or not, someone needs to prove it, not just accuse the man of it. it is funny to watch certain people flip flop on the subject from the other moore thread!

I said early on that I would be good with either Moore or Strange. Moore got the nod--that's what we'll go with. Luther Strange perhaps would have worked better with Trump but he is part of the swamp--been in politics a long time. I think he would have been nothing but a puppet (maybe not entirely a bad thing though). I get the impression you would need to drive a stake beside him to see if he actually moves any throughout the day--not exactly a ball of fire on getting things done. Moore and Strange both have baggage, Moore with the questionable charity and Strange from receiving money from a company that sell's visa's and passports. I don't feel Strange would have been electable in Alabama due to his appointment to Sessions old job. Gerald Ford fell into this position, a great president but disliked by the voters because he wasn't elected into office. If Trump knew something he should have said something before the primaries. It's not like Trump is afraid to speak his mind.

As opposed to all the homosexual activists who were subject to scorn and condemnation when they were found to be pedophiles, or who were ostracized when it was found they contributed to the spread of AIDS. Here in NJ we just had a pair of lesbians, got into a domestic dispute, now one is wearing orange coveralls, charged with Murder One. Remember, gay "marriage " was supposed to recognize "loving" relationships. All the liberals exposed as tax cheats and evaders. Yes, they're on a blacklist.

So I guess that's a "yes" to tribe above all. Once upon a time AL felt that way about Republicans.
