We have had the first black President ever. Now, with Prince Charming going to marry a woman of black descent, will it be long before there is a black in Buckingham Palace? May be a future king? 8-)

Prince Dullard found his intellectual equal. Not one among the collection of mental & moral degenerates constituting the so-called Royal Family is worthy to inherent the throne--any throne. Monarchy should be abolished after the death of Queen E. II--it would be a mercy killing. -
We can hope...the inbreeding of the royals probably needs a little more diversity."The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. They who fired it were the greatest practical abolitionists this nation has produced." ~BG D. UllmanComment

No worries Major, he's not in line to the throne unless something takes out his brother's branch in its entirety. So he's more or less free to marry for love and not for breeding. A woman of black descent! You know we're all out of Africa originally, right?Comment

Under British law, the Queen has to approve the marriage and it would seem that she has done so. If she is happy with her grandson's choice who are we to approve or disapprove of it. Those of us of a certain age will remember the incredible fuss 60 years ago when the Queen's sister wanted to marry a decorated WWII fighter pilot who had been divorced and due to social pressures was unable to do so. We have come a long way.Comment

Given the penchant of the various royal families for inbreeding-cf Franz Ferdinand's complaint that half of the Hapsburgs were either epileptics or idiots- perhaps some fresh American blood would pep them up. Bi-racial ? You could have fooled me. Not sure how a once divorced woman would be accepted at Court today. Plus she's a little past prime childbearing time IMHO.Comment
