I hate the mid east. I'd sure rather hear about the milk production of the cows in Switzerland.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Palestinians would have more rights as Israeli citizens, unless Israel makes them officially second class citizens, like what happened in South Africa. Israel can't make the Palestinians full and equal citizens without sacrificing the Jewish nature of the Israeli State, and can't practice Apartheid without being really isolated from the world, including eventually the US.

Years ago Tom Clancy wrote a book called The Sum of All Fears, in which Palestinians had decided to adopt MLK style non-violent protest techniques. Imagine if that came true in real life! . It's fair to say that Palestinians can be their own worst enemy, but Jews are not Christians, and their attitude towards the residents of the West bank and Gaza is very hard.

Palestinians asking for full and equal standing in a single Israeli State is a brilliant strategic move. This of course makes it unlikely that enough of them would do it. Israel naturally wants to keep the 2 state fiction alive indefinitely, and Napoleon teaches us to not do what your opponent wants you to do. Israel has had the benefit of the Palestinians foolishly doing what Israel wants. Therefore, if the Palestinians were to start to wise up on this point, then it wouldn't surprise me to see some mysterious deaths among Palestinian advocates of a single state just to put things back in order.
Thank you, put forth interesting thoughts that I had not considered.

Re: Erakat, etc. Long term, that would be about the best solution that could be achieved. It would be best for the most people concerned. The bitterenders would of course object.

Time is on the side of the Palestinians. The birthrate of Israelis is not sufficient to build their population to a sustainable level. The non-Jewish portion of the population is growing as a percentage of population. Younger Israelis are less and less committed to extreme Zionism. The failure of the military to do more than periodically belch and push back opposition groups is not going to change. Long term, Israel does not have the money or population to sustain itself without accommodating its non-Jewish native population. It is not unlike the Germans when they invaded the ussr. In many areas, they were welcomed as liberators from stalin. Had Hitler not so foolishly thrown these people away, the Jews and various other people groups would have been are real help to the Germans. In a similar way, the Israelis have taken territory that they will not be able to hold long term without real political changes as touches the native non-Jewish population. These people will be a real help to the nation unless extremist stupidly repeat the same mistakes made by hitler in Barbarossa. Time and a higher birthrate are for the Palestinians the equivalent of General Winter for the ussr as it sought to destroy the Germans. JMHO. sincerely. bruce.

Remember Jerry Springer is a super liberal and very anti-Trump so he probably just makes up the news for his shows.

The annual milk yield per cow is not a suitable indicator for the efficiency of dairy production because it is strongly influenced by live weight, duration of lactation and production system. The feed conversion ratio (kg energy corrected milk kg dry matter – kg ECM kg-1 DM) or the surface productivity (kg ECM ha-1) are…

Would that mean the thousands of West Bank wall murals, billboards, comic books, elementary school textbooks, etc. glorifying the "martyrs" killed by Israeli police after they had murdered some unarmed Jewish civilians, blown up a bus, etc., would have to be done away with?

When an idiot reporter once asked Ed Koch is he was going to "turn the other cheek" after some particularly vicious insult by a political opponent, he said "No, I'm not a Christian!" (Of course Christians, as we know, always "turn the other cheek".)
