Pledge week is tough, so just do something else for a few days, but PBS sure does have some great stuff. Except for the World stuff. An hour of watching poor people go through their daily lives. Fixing breakfast, going for water,ect. I've never understood the point of it. I'd rather watch paint dry.

Pledge Week ? The pledges go on all year.
Every time I pause at a PBS channel - here comes the pledge.
Never fails.

Have occasionally enjoyed PBS programming. Nowadays, have no reason to tune into the local station. Anything they've ever produced can be found and watched at one site or another on the internet. Cool. One can watch programs that one judges worthwhile. One does not have to deal with commercials ... pledge breaks, etc. Sincerely. bruce.

I record the programs on PBS (DIRECTV) and when I watch I just fast forward over the commercials. They have some great documentaries and educational shows.
Watched a great one last night on elephants. It was on NOVA and it was outstanding.

All those docs are available from the Library Without the annoying pledges.
That's where I get them.
I used to be a member of local PBS station, but quit when
they turned liberal. Couldn't stand their constant whining.

Re: Now it's a feeding frenzy and it doesn't look good. Possibly. Just possibly. And for men unjustly accused, etc., it is going to be a bumpy road. On the other hand, lots of the jokers getting their hands slapped are men who have habitually used their position, power, etc., to abuse women and men. There is an old saying, "The truth outs!" Let the truth come out. Let the chips fall where they may. Down the road, everyone will be the better for it. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.
