By this same reasoning I assume you would never block unwanted emails or phone calls. It's all freedom of speech you know. And yes I am very proud to say I am a conservative who doesn't take too kindly of propaganda and constant badgering to try to persuade me to another's way of thinking. While everyone has their views and opinions that will differ it is clear that some are only here to inflict hate and arguments. Conversations, even heated conversations are great but to argue just for the sake of arguing? I personally have better things to do with what is left of my life. The ignore list was put here for a reason. No one is being forced to use it.

The key word in your statement is "unwanted", so yes I would and do block them. But I am free to come or go here, and I do not make the rules here, in my own home I do! Well, for the most part I do. If you have better things to do, go do them, or at least don't complain about the forum. Put anyone you want on the block list, but why do you read them in the first place?
You seem to get upset over minor things, which is not good for your health, "what is left of" your life.

Spoken like a true believer in the 1st. amendment, a good conservative believer in freedom, afraid his mind will get infected? Two black guys who used to post here seem to have been run off here already by anti black remarks. The libs will not be so easy.

The 1st Amendment recognizes your freedom to speak.

It does not require that I have to listen to you.

Freedom is not a one way street.

This is why liberals hate freedom.
