"Out of the Frying Pan, into the Fire" ...

Murderer flees Los Angeles, goes to China.
China agrees to try him there for the Los Angeles crimes.

Great, send them all overseas for "processing". The U.S. has become too PC to serve justice. Our prisons are filled with criminals on death row that will die in prison or be turned loose before they are executed.

When the Chinese sentence someone to death, he dies. They mostly execute by shooting, and the family has to pay for the ammunition.

Sounds like comrade Vern is a big fan of the Communist Chinese justice system.

No it sounds like Vern is a victim of the twisters and turners led by our #1 Stooge...

The method most often used for execution in China is the lethal injection. They also use firing squads when the crime is especially violent as in the case quoted, The Russians are the ones that once used a single round for the execution and sometimes may have insisted the family pay for the single round used but that pretty much expired with the Chikatilo execution 24 tears ago.

On 14 February 1994 Chikatilo was taken from his death row cell to a soundproofed room in Novocherkassk prison and executed with a single gunshot behind the right ear

That is just another lie, and another twist and turn troll tactic. It has no basis in fact and is not supported by anything Vern said. It is just another made up lie by an anti-American traitor who seizes on another cowardly, yellow bellied, back stabbing opportunity to disparage an American hero. What a disgusting piece of cowardly human feces we have here.

Some of them are cut loose over here when it turns out the system got the wrong guy. Means less if you're dead, you know?

But bigger picture, the individual person is meaningless in the ChiCom system. Individual liberty doesn't exist as a concept over there. God given natural rights of man? A bill of Rights? Forget it.

You old guys should know better. You're the ones who are supposed to remember this stuff, pass it to the young. The cumbersome quality of our justice system isn't a bug, it's a feature.

Pay no attention Red, this person is apparently an S&M is trying to bait you. Not worth your time nor effort, follow Vern's example on how to handle unpleasant odors.

Red, don't worry our "trained engineer" will be able to sort out things to keep forum off track. One thing bother's me about our "trained engineer" if not trained then is not an engineer? One would consider that to be an engineer one must be trained in some aspect, otherwise why state the obvious? It is like saying, "I am a rich millionaire", why state the fact twice? Why utter a pleonasm? With more and more statements forthcoming one must ask, "Is this smoke and mirrors?", perhaps a provocateur in the midst. On another forum KTK has an electrical question, our "trained engineer" apparently did not have a "learned" opinion on a possible solution. Probably out doing a good deed tracking poachers on his keyboard.

                          Boggs you're nuts.

Regarding that thread, I saw it late, and it had been covered adequately by others. So why chime in? KTK's wife took care of it.

And weren't you the guy who <sniff! sniff!> felt it necessary to have your diploma posted because someone had questioned your credentials and you found that to be hurtful and not in keeping with the spirit of the forum? Then like a total fathead you turn around and do the same thing. Yeah I know you really think you're onto something, but let me burst your bubble. The term "trained engineer" just means a guy went to school for it, and didn't come into the field through a different vector. I know guys working with the job title Engineer who never went to engineering school. It happens.

The stuff I do on the job is pretty far removed from either guns or politics, and my employer understandably sees it as their business and not yours. So for good reasons it doesn't come up. But OK, if as a general topic of interest you desire to discuss the latest industry trends in short haul fiber optics for data center Terabit Ethernet applications, or PCB and connector systems for implementing practical 100GBASE-KR4 fabrics over backplanes, then let's dance.

I won't need to because you'll do it yourself. The gloves are back on, remember? It's a rule I can support because I enjoy an exchange of ideas but a rule that you chafe at because for you it's about proving that you're right and the other guy is either wrong or a really bad guy. So when one of your half-baked arguments gets stoned in its tracks, then out come the vituperative attacks. And it's not like your self-restraint is improving with time, so the way I see it at some point you'll royally go off and end up in the box again and won't come back afterwards.

It's a manure pile of a discussion, you are 100% right about that. But if one is going to walk in the pens then sometimes stuff gets on the boots.
