    Trump at the G7

    Question for our Canadian members.

Would you take Trump's word for anything at this point? Yeah yeah negotiating tactics but at what point would you stop believing that what he is telling you is not just negotiating bullsh*t?

I'm not too sure if you were around CSP during the last American election but at that time I asked " with over 300 million people in the US, Clinton and Trump were the best 2 you could come up with"?

    My question still stands.

My answer still stands too. We have 300 million here but only half are citizens. The rest just live here.

As far as Trump goes. We are very fortunate to have someone like him for president, a wealthy non-politician who can't be bought off and is tired of seeing America run over by the rest of the world. I'm sure Canada, Germany, France and especially Mexico and China like the imbalanced trade agreements just like they are. You can't fault Trump for wanting to make trade a fair game.

Ken the answer to your question is still out in deep space and unknown. American politics is perplexing as can be with all that we are. You have the main culture called "America" but what is that? Many sub cultures and many more sub, sub cultures. A melting pot that separates and boils over at times to say the least. Blacks who are not American but "African", leftist who are more "European" then American and then there is the alcoholic/drug/criminal/mentally ill. The "Teacher-Teacher" who is a snitch that gets the crap beat out of him. On top of that you have "Americans" who like rats crap as they go along...get the picture? Right now one of the Brothers Styx is trying to ferment more division by asking a question meant to divide. I for one am going to follow Vern's advice regarding the "Styx brothers" and concentrating on things that are within my pay grade. I for one am tired of the BS that has come into our board society and close that door behind me...I am tired.

If the table is level and we get beat at our own game that is fair.

Would I take the word of the President who raised real wages, brought unemployment to it's lowest level in about 20 years, raised home ownership, and ran the market to record highs? Yeah, I'd take his word. Whose word would you take, and what are that person's accomplishments?

Well Vern... here in SW FL there has been a building boom of houses and commercial properties for coming up on 4 years now....

This is because people from other parts of the country had an upswing in thier fortunes and brought thier cash here .....

I'm sorry Sir ..... but those endless thousands of homes purchased here over the past three years .... along with the jobs they created..... had nothing to do with Trump .

Trump's word is useless. The world knows it too! Sad little man.

Hey Togor, Fox News did report two dictators were meeting in Singapore.

                        That seems about right.

You are right / and you are wrong.

People from other parts of the country had an upswing in their fortunes and bought their cash here ----- Nope ----- we are refugees from socialist havens such as California. They have taxed and regulated us to the point of breaking.... I have friends that are state workers who can't even afford to retire in California. It's not prosperity we are bringing - it is escaping with the hopes of a better future, one where our retirement money will actually last.

So - your second point is right - it has nothing to do with Trump - but everything to do with liberal burdens placed upon the middle class.
