Add to that names of songs & works of fiction, & the number goes through the roof. But there are now millions of mindless millennials (Sako?) who have absolutely no clue that "gay" ever applied to anything but homoism! When TCM runs one of these movies, the host usually feels it necessary to tell viewers "no, it doesn't mean what you may be thinking," or other words to that effect. THAT is a measure of how deeply this PC rot has sunk into American culture!

I said horsesheet because I will call these messed up people anything i wanna and the last person I would let dictate my thoughts is a know it all like you. Oh, by the way why do you use a name other than your given name on this board?

Anyone want to go to the Chicago freak Pride parade tomorrow in my stead? I was invited to go with a really sharp looking gal about 15 years my junior. SHE'S HOT!!!! and she wants to laugh at the freak show. I have no intention of going into that part of town....not unless I have Cubs tickets.
      2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!

Actually, no CH. Most guys don't worry about gays rewriting all the rules. Why is that? I don't know. Maybe they figure that a person is either gay or isn't, and if they're not then there is nothing to talk about, and anyways the gays take themselves out of the running for the best women.

My point is, your interest in the subject is atypical. It's as though the existence of homosexuality in the world makes you feel a need to....say something. OK fine, you're not gay. Can we move on?

Not as long as the national media, & esp. the entertainment industry, does its best to cram the the homo agenda down my throat. I'd LIKE to forget it, but in this country, that's not possible without being locked into an sensory-deprivation cell, or maybe just going blind & deaf.

OMG did you really write "cram the homo agenda down my throat"?

            You don't see it?

Anyways, I'll bet there are forum members with gay kids, who don't feel like talking to you about it or being lectured about it by you. Maybe they've made their peace with it, or maybe they haven't. But you sound like a damn broken record. So maybe you should get some counseling (Boggs has a few open dates in his book) or maybe you can just shut up already.

It is a mental disorder. Nothing special really. I would think that 100 percent of people that went to a qualified physichatrist would be found to have some sort of mental disorder. Virtually all completely harmless. As long as they don't harm anyone or impose who cares.

rootin tootin thread. Sometimes, someone has to say the emporer has no clothes. That doesn't mean the emporer loses his job, just that he's crazy and someone finally said it. Medical Majiuana is BS(for the most part) and LBG..whatever, is too(for the most part). It's over-sold. When "it's crammed down your throat" smart people should step back some. The program to stomp out smoking cigarettes was a worthwhile cause. Smoking flat out kills people. But being queer doesn't kill... oh, wait, yes it does. Sorry queers. But medical science will save you. Speaking of medical; Medical majiuana doesn't hurt, it helps. No, wait, it makes people lazy and dreamy. The one's that don't have cancer were dumb to begin with(visit CO). Maybe if they had proper parenting and were taught that drug and alcohol abuse is bad for you and makes you make bad decisions they wouldn't have drifted into homosexuality in the first place(Yes, there are "real" queers). Parenting is 100 different difficult jobs or not. Maybe if parents and grownups had the wherewithall to tell youong kids, "you don't do that" they wouldn't be waving the rainbow flag in our faces to get everyone to assure them that, "it's OK" to be gay. Well, it's not 1955 anymore and Father Knows Best isn't on t.v. and maybe it's not the end of the world that there are queers everywhere. Lord knows I see a lot of androgenous teenage girls/boys these days. CH nailed it from my perpective. Togor can always argue a topic and argue he does. But I have to ask, you were raised by your mom? Hollywood folks are rich and inured from the pressure of going along to get along with the everyday crowd. Most of us want to belong to the tribe. If you didn't in the long distant past you died. It's a different world these days.
Longer than Bruce? Tip of the hat to Clinton hater. Your a hater but you're erudite.

Hater? LOL, no. Live and let live in the Land of the Free. But I seem to stick out like a sore thumb here...sometimes. I'm pro 2A, but pro responsibility too. Sorry, raised that way. Gays don't want to live in the closet anymore. Some people can't deal with it, the "ick" factor. But that's on them.

There are some guys here with some pretty reactionary ideas. I'm not one of them.

Allen is correct, the progressive lineral left has created names / titles for people and actions that have until recently been comdemned by socitey. "Shack up, live together, out of wedlock, an affair, .... Anything to soften or lessen the act to make it socially acceptable.

They haven't had to, for longer than a generation: openly homo bars, bath houses, other facilities, & in many parts of the country, exclusively homo beaches; Fire Island makes Sodom & Gomorrah seem quaint. And in the entertainment industry...far from being a career impediment, homoism is an automatic career booster!

But that freedom is not enough! They've just GOT to parade themselves down Main St. of Everytown, USA. They've just GOT to intrude themselves into the events of other organizations, like the St. Patrick's Day parade in NYC. What gives them the right to FORCE themselves on the rest of us???

Worse, is their determination to corrupt history, like insisting that Lincoln HAD to be a homo because he's known to have slept in the same bed in an inn with another man--a very common practice in the 19th C., when having a bed all to yourself was considered a luxury reserved for the rich. And many other similar efforts to "prove" that well-known historical figures were homos, their obvious intent being to make their own deviancy seem "normal." And of course, Togor will find reasons to justify this, too, as he always does all left-wing issues.

CH as near as I can figure the central idea behind your never-ending complaints about homos, mulattos, etc., is that you liked it better in the old days when such people were more invisible to you, seemingly knowing their place, or at least fearing repercussions lest they become too visible. So a nostalgia thing

Why people should make your nostalgia a central organizing principle for their lives isn't clear. I suspect however that if given real power to tell others how to live their lives, you would not stop at the gays and non-whites. I bet you would keep going and tell us all how it has to be.

As for Lincoln, I very much doubt historians of the future will have him leading the first DC gay pride parade in 1863.

I repeat: What gives them the right to FORCE themselves on the rest of us??? If it's "nostalgia" to take offense at being intruded upon in that way, I plead guilty. To imply, as you do, that their only alternative to forcing themselves on the rest of us is hiding in a closet insults the intelligence of a moron.
