    It is indeed a Union song. When I taught college History, I taught three things first when it came to the Civil War -- a song (Soldier's Joy), a poem (Little Griffin) and a story -- the Angel of Marye's Heights.

      So, I had to look it up. Now, if some idiots want to tear down that statue, I hope others will defend it. Ignorance should always be opposed. Big or Small. But,sometimes a little radical is called for. Poof. Fireworks.
