No, of course he won't. And he won't get to lie in State either,
although as far I'm concerned he may have deserved it more.
He entertained with his movies. He made people laugh and
from the reports I've read, he was fun to be around and was
adored by those who knew him.
As for McCain, only Arizonians know if he was a good Senator
or not, but we all know he was a lousy pilot and a vindictive
Trump hating turncoat.
I'll miss Reynolds. I won't miss McCain.

No one doubts it takes a lot of skill to fly and land on a carrier but these aren't our words. McCain could crash anywhere.

In addition McCain received two purple hearts, three Bronze Stars two Legions of Merit, and a Silver Star. Even allowing for some enhancement that's quite a record.

I've got no problem with McCain the military man, I did have issues with McCain the politician. McCain could be petty and vindictive (he largely blamed Sara Palin for his loss to Obama and held a grudge against her tell he died,) and I guarantee that after Trump questioned his guts the Prez. guaranteed that McCain would screw him if it took the rest of his life. Not an attractive characteristic. Pres. Trump said every bit as nasty stuff about Ted Cruz, the difference being that Cruz has his eye on the bigger picture and so is willing to forgo retribution. A fact that's hurting him a bit in his Senate race because a decent number of Repubs. don't see how you could let accusations that your father was involved in the plot to kill Kennedy and you have an ugly wife go.
