I was asking the same question when Flynn and his son were using the internet to repeat the Breitbert "news" story about the Democrat pedophile ring being run out of a pizza joint ...

How low will the dims go? As low as it takes. They have a different set of morals and their only goal is winning.

One of saul alinski's rules for radicals is: "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."
And they are doing that well. If a Republican is possibly guilty of compromising the morals of decent society the leftists will make that case. Even if it isn't true. Lies, slander, and poo slinging are just as good as actual facts. They have gotten away with just implying issues. Just like they are doing to Kavanagh.
The right should start using the same tactics. But the problem is that leftists have squishy morals. Rape by someone like clinton is O.K. because he is pro-abortion. Same with the credible accusations of ellison beating his girlfriend because of who he is. feinstein's sending no bid contracts to her husband's construction firm when she was chairperson of the senate armed services committee wasn't an issue because of who she is.
The GOP needs to determine just what moral line leftists are not willing to cross. Rape, domestic abuse, theft don't seem to be a problem for them. Just what would be a moral deal breaker for leftists?

You know who was pretty good at Alinsky-style tactics in his posts? Our own Red. Not to change the subject or anything, but c'mon, does anyone seriously think this hasn't been about winning at all costs for a long time now? If anything the Dems are slow to the game, which is how they have a slim majority of national voters yet hold a decided minority of state/national elected positions.

Vern illustrates the point perfectly. If someone isn't in lock-step with his list of approved positions then in his view they don't belong. The right is loaded with Verns. This is nominally a 2A forum, and on that I fit right in. But because my politics in other respects are more centrist, some people freak out, even to the point of activating their snowflake list. And of course anyone in politics who shows the slightest inclination to reach across the isle is immediately labeled here a RINO, which is to say that good Republicans in this view would never think of breaking bread with those outside the tribe.

Long story short, it's not a window through which many are looking at the Kavanaugh business. It's a mirror.
