No, not the campaign slogan. What happened?

My child, ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find. My "arms room" in progress.[ATTACH=CONFIG]44367[/ATTACH
This is one of the small rooms in my 4,200 square foot home now. The arms room is 8 feet wide, 14 feet deep and 12 feet high. Above the door I will have a shelf that will measure 4 feet wide for "small" stuff. My Amish friends are building me double lockable rifle racks, pistol racks and on the left side of the room is ammo can storage. The door is "hidden" and spring locked, unless a person knows where to look and how to open it is secure. I also have incorporated into my home a two person 4 foot wide, 50 foot long air weapons range. I could have done regular firearms but the cost of ventilation is prohibitive. As I said before, if a need arises I have the solution. When my electrician is done on his other job I will have lighting and post better pictures of my room.

One of the "boring" views from my front porch looking up one of my hills towards the highway and my friends property. Not unusual to see some of the local deer coming through his area. This was taken on an early morning before some of the fog had burned off, a pleasant thing to sit on the porch and contemplate what I get to do for the day. Everything I have and will have has been given to me by a generous God who loves me and you. God saw my needs and gave me and my family more then we deserve. God, the Creator of us all is Good and Loving, I am so blessed!

Fair enough. For daily safety I have a Sig P220 in .45acp for shoulder carry. @ my disposal there are numerous .22's from my childhood, a 10/22 that I have shot so much the bolt has imprinted on the face of the barrel. I have ammo for .357, .38 Special, .44 Mag, 12 gauge, 3006, 7.62 NATO. No need to go into firearms, you get an idea. My leather gear is custom made for me by my leather smith, it takes 6-9 months after order to get it as he is that far backlogged. I have a separate building just to cast bullets and load the ammo for my "collection" of need.17862746_318493508581297_8493544597777680656_n.jpg A picture of myself with Wolf last year before I added a porch to the front of my building. My shoulder weapon, shotgun 870, has many magazines as does my Sig.

Always good to get a face to go with the name. It humanizes people, which I think is redeeming in most cases.

The question of "if a guy had only one firearm for everything...." is an interesting one. In my case, living in the countryside, it needs to be a rifle, for obvious reasons. So that being the case I'd go with the shooter M1 with the "meh" CMP Birch Stock and the Smith Enterprises muzzle break and Schuster gas plug. Garands have limitations but I have enough different flavors of .30-06 ammo such that with the break and plug that gun could do a lot of different things. If allowed a sidearm too I'll go with the Glock 17, but if only one tube, then make it a rifle.

Speaking of pictures to go with names, is this Vern?

And that is what they do not understand -- and as narcissists cannot understand. Nobody cares about what they think.

If anything the Dems are slow to the game, which is how they have a slim majority of national voters yet hold a decided minority of state/national elected positions.
If you like a majority of national voters deciding things you aren't saying anything about the American system. In addition, the Dems should thank their lucky stars for the 17th Amendment, otherwise they would only have about 34 seats in the Senate today.

"Mommy, Mommy they are talking about me on tv!" said a 9 year old Road King. His mother said no one was saying anything and to leave her alone. Half an hour later RKT came back in only more agitated, again his mother said to leave her alone! Two hours later he came back in with the same complaint only now with tears in his eyes, so his mother went to investigate. Sure enough the commercial for the candy bar, "Some times you feel like a nut, some times you don't!" Apparently every time RKT said something in school his peers would taunt him that he was nuts...Apparently not much has happened in his little life since then.
