What about the top of the bus ?.... as a kid growing up in London we rode double deckers.

Sometimes we school kids would be taken on an outing and "top deck" was the place to be .....

When that bus would take a right hand turn all the kids would leap over to the the left hand side and you could almost feel those right hand wheels wanting to leave the pavement .... great fun .

Even in the late 50's early 60s.... any race could sit on the top or bottom deck of a London bus.
