Listening to the news I wonder if the way back machine has returned me back? Listening to the glee of the left of how Hillary is going to win in a landslide and the worry of the right that Trump will be soundly defeated! It reminds me of what a famous man said many eon's ago, "Don't take counsel of your fears!"
In the early stages of The Bulge, Allied Generals were in a panic save for one who saw an opportunity. Patton stated that courage was needed and let the Germans come in and then cut them off in a pincer movement to destroy them, Eisenhower couldn't see that. Eisenhower was a political general with no combat experience who was more worried about losing a war. Patton was a fighting general who's only concern was in winning...see the difference now? For 50 years year's America was more worried about losing our "friends" in the world and not being liked. Now we have a guy who is more concerned about America winning and in so helping where we should and that is at home. Charity begins at home, not beyond our border. I am tired of seeing America carry a jar of Vaseline for the world to use on us.
