I sort of wonder... will it have plumbing and power akin to its earlier predecessor? Will there be stowaway passengers? (probably !)
Just... HOW does one keep rats out of a ship that size that is permanently moored? Or, is is to be permanently moored? What a boon for the Chi-com Navy, to suddenly 'produce' a capital warship? Then, I reckon that weapons systems are tough to hide from orbiting surveillance platforms. I am just thinking aloud here, that's all. JMO, it will be quite a boondoggle.

One more thing....there is apparently a Titanic 2 being built, but then there is the floating attraction. Apparently different construction projects.

So I'm talking about the landlocked one mentioned above, but possibly some confusion here.

Thanks. My thread was about Chinese one. Seeing as how they are
working from the original blueprints, I assumed they would include
engines. The engines would be non functional but I would think
necessary as I'm sure guests would want to see them. It wouldn't
be much of a replica without them.

I agree they need something for people to look at and make sounds over. I remember being in the National Archives in DC when a guard is explaining the no camera rules. Meanwhile a Chinese tourist behind me is arming his selfie stick. She chewed him out good, short lady, DC local, telling him to put the damn thing away. Chinese have no business IMO coming to DC when their own state is one-party, crony capitalism fueled by corruption.
