    The last I read was that the recorders had been found but are damaged.

    While dozens of things could have caused the crash the planes were grounded due to the numerous complaints by other pilots that appeared to be in line with what brought this plane down. The complaints were only on the 737-8 and -9.

      At a guess the culprit would seem to be the computer
      that forces the nose down when the climb angle is too steep.
      If it does that on takeoff when the climb is especially steep,
      then there's no time for the pilot to override.

        That's kinda what this article is saying.

        The jet maker didn't tell pilots about a new system suspected of contributing to two fatal crashes when the plane began to enter fleets last year.
