A while back someone stole my Cat. It was gone for about
eight weeks, then one day when I opened the deck door, he
came flying in. He wouldn't say who took him, although it
    was obviously a neighbor.

Oddly enough though you hear a lot about chinks eating dogs and rats but never cats?
Not so... Cats are commonly eaten in asian countries. There is a video I have seen of a Asian cook (Korean?) using a pipe noose to dump a struggling a live house cat into a boiling pot of oil After a couple of minutes he was able to pull the cat's fur out in just a couple of minutes. The caption was, "This is not one world."

        Someone stole a CAT?!?

I'll bet the dastardly amadans also shampooed the rug and reshingled the roof, too.

oddly enough, you are the only one that I have heard say that,

common joke around here is that there are no stray cats within a mile of any Chinese restaurant,

I always figured it was because of the lack of rats.

I don't think one would want anything out of your deli!

Like the time we told the Cajuns that the Taliban are out of season, the limit is one, and they taste great in gumbo?

                          not deli, chinese food joint,

I was running a meat market on the 'good side of town' for a couple years,

ate at the little chinese joint in the same shopping center a few times, until I found out the owner was surfing our dumpster, and pulling stuff out on his way to work,,

no stray cats behind that store either,,

note, even tho the health and sanitation folks discourage having any animal around a food seller, we fed stray cats on the sly, just enough to keep them around, since they are excellent mousers,
did this is a couple stores and had 0 mouse problems,,

There used to be a chink/asian/oriental restaurant near my home. It was closed by the health department back in the 70's when dog carcasses were found in the dumpster.

I ate there once--got the peppered steak which was very tough and dry almost like jerky and smothered with pepper. This was probably dog meat and seasoned to the point where you couldn't tell that it wasn't beef.

Dog meat is easy to identify -- the more you chew it, the bigger it gets.
