Vern old buddy, the brilliance of their confusion is so outstanding that the mediocrity of their targeted population is overstated in their ability to be underwhelmed! Does that about cover it?

Pretty much. If you like confusion and twisted logic, they're your boys.

There is no confusion or twisted logic over there. They targeted this forum, and continue to lie and obfuscate in order to hinder the exchange of ideas contrary to their own progressive ideology. True dems to the core. Regards, Clark

You're right, of course. But look at what they write and you see the psychological reason for their need to do such a thing. It's like reading Mein Kampf or Das Kapital.

that the minority is supposed to prevail in all matters.-

and if that is true (enlarged part of the quote)
the there would be less complaining about the past election
since Hilz had the higher popular vote, using the statement 'the minority is supposed to prevail in all matters'
sounds to me using that logic that all should be OK with Trumps election, since he was the minority popular vote,,
The phrasing was unclear so to restate, the majority should have an opportunity to express itself, but not too far. This was (once) thought to be part of the genius of the American system, that a self-governing group of people could manage this as well as any monarch. My read of the forum is that many here find themselves in opposition to pretty much everything that carries popular opinion, and that their political outlook is entrenched around being a minority that has to cling to power by any means necessary or risk being swept away. Now maybe that overstates things for some (including present company) but for many I believe that hits the nail on the head, and I think: no wonder they're crabby.

while I will agree on the some being crabby,

i fear the rest just muddies the water, for some,

I think I get what you are saying, maybe,

                  never assume here,,, never

Someone can check but I think Trump's popularity is the same as Obama at his stage of the presidency.

With last night's speech, President Trump raised 24 Million dollars for the Republican campaign!
